Stepping to to your life purpose

I get this question asked a lot, What is my life purpose?”so I often will pull out my life purpose oracle deck.

While a intuitive reading may provide you with some insight,  but this is what I always like to add......

Typically, your life purpose is something consistent with your natural gifts, talents and interests that you gravitate to effortlessly.

Many people have been conditioned to choose careers based on practical considerations such as security, money, longevity and status, they may have found themselves locked into jobs and careers inconsistent with their true gifts, talents and calling. If you have made you have made a decision based on mind thinking,

rather than heart-intelligence, it is quite likely that you feel unfulfilled and yearn to do what you were naturally born to do, despite any superficial success you’ve attained. That is what happened to me.

Right out of high school I had no idea what I wanted to do, I worked for years in retail management. Then I gravitated into cosmetology school eventually because I always wanted to do hair and nails, that was soon after suffering a long period of trauma in my life while I struggled to recover.

So I actually didn’t even begin doing that until I was almost 40! I love doing it, but most of my satisfaction comes from my interactions with my clients, not so much just making them beautiful, but making them feel good while they are in my presence.

One of the ways to determine your purpose is by first identifying your passion because your passion will lead you to your life’s purpose.

When you’re truly passionate about doing something, you don’t have to try too hard to give it attention. When challenges come up, they will not deter you, because it is something you have a natural desire to do. The clearer you are about what you want to do, the more this will show up in your life.

Your brain is happier when you’re focused on doing things you love. It’s like a natural high when you do what  you love, your brain releases high levels of dopamine, endorphins and stress-reducing hormones.

Ask yourself the following questions: Which things or conversations charge you up? What do you love talking about? What excites you? Then you will know!
