Selenite is a soft, translucent variety of gypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate) known for its high-vibration, "liquid light" energy, primarily used for clearing negativity, enhancing meditation, and charging other crystals. It has a Mohs hardness of only 2—scratchable by a fingernail—and should never be exposed to water as it can dissolve.
